FGDC XML
Completeness Report The data are complete, have been reviewed and accepted.
Horizontal Positional Accuracy Report The data are intended for use at a scale of 1:15,840 and meet ASPRS accuracy standards for that scale (approximate horizontal error of 3.75m or less 95% of the time).
Process Description The area was flown by James W. Sewall Company on May 9, 2006, at an elevation of 7920' with no cloud cover, using a Zeiss RMK TOP 15 camera (with a valid camera calibration report submitted to USGS) and AGFA X100 Color Negative film. The resulting color negatives were scanned at 14 and 28 microns. Orthophotos were prepared by Sewall to meet accuracy specifications for scale of 1:15,840. The resulting TIFFs were delivered to the Maine Department of Conservation. The tiles were retiled to 1km x 1km blocks and compressed to JPEG2000 by Maine Office of GIS staff for presentation as WMS. Metadata were compiled by MEGIS staff from information provided by Sewall.
